"SSPB-Tungus": Verified and Recommended
LLC "SSPB", being one of the leading manufacturers of fire extinguishing systems in Russia, is constantly striving to develop and improve its products. It has proven its effectiveness on multiple occasions, and the recent fire tests have further confirmed the reliability of the "SSPB-Tungus".
In March of this year, fire tests were conducted at the "Vinogradovsky" quarry (AO "KTK") involving several companies that manufacture fire extinguishing systems.
The goal of these tests was to determine the most effective solution.
What was done
At the quarry site, a stand was prepared for the installation of an automatic fire extinguishing system, which contained a diesel engine with a large amount of lubricants and rags, mounted on a KAMAZ vehicle tire.
The organizers of the tests installed the fire extinguishing system on the stand, heated the exhaust manifold and the turbine, and also ignited the car tire.
According to the customer's technical specifications, the tests were conducted under increased difficulty conditions, as in addition to heating the engine itself, the tire was set on fire for more than 10 minutes until complete ignition, which undoubtedly complicates the fire extinguishing process.
The entire testing process took place with the participation of a commission from the "Vinogradovsky" quarry and was recorded by video and photo. OOO "CCPB" presented two powder fire extinguishing modules for testing: MPP-24 and MPP-10, as well as 12 nozzles-sprayers (spray heads). The system was activated in manual mode.
The products of OOO "SSBP" successfully passed the fire tests: the fire was completely extinguished, and there was no re-ignition.
After the tests, a review of the remaining fire extinguishing powder was conducted. In the fire extinguishing system modules of the "SSBP-Tungus", a minimal residue was recorded.
Test Results
The conducted fire tests of the "SSBP-Tungus" fire extinguishing system are deemed successful, with results fully meeting all established safety requirements and standards. The "SSBP-Tungus" ASPTS (Automated Smoke and Fire Protection System) is recommended for use.
Additionally, the fire tests once again confirmed the necessity of installing a fire extinguishing system: it is an essential condition for the safe and uninterrupted operation of technological transport, as well as for the safety of human life, particularly for those directly involved in operating the machinery.
